Events: Kritika Kultura and ECIPE to Host International Conference on Cultural Practices and Policies in the Digital and Global Age

 

Kritika Kultura, the international refereed journal of language, literary, and cultural studies of the Department of English, Ateneo de Manila University, and the European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE), will host an international conference on Cultural Practices and Policies in the Digital and Global Age. The conference will be held on Nov. 22 and 23, 2018, at Leong Hall, Ateneo de Manila University, and is open to the public (registration required). The conference is supported by the Academy of Korean Studies and the Korean Studies Promotion Service.

Events: Kritika Kultura Lecture Series presents Pedro Cardim

 

Kritika Kultura, the international refereed journal of language, literary, and cultural studies of the Department of English, Ateneo de Manila University—in cooperation with the Department of History (AdMU)—will host a lecture by Pedro Cardim. The lecture—titled “The Status of the Indigenous Peoples across Spanish and Portuguese America (16th to 18th Centuries)” is on Oct. 30, 2018, from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m., at Faura AVR, Ateneo de Manila University. The event is open to the public.
