Kritika Kultura, the international refereed journal of language, literary, and cultural studies of the Department of English, Ateneo de Manila University—in cooperation with the Ateneo de Manila University Press, the Fine Arts Department, the Department of English, and the School of Humanities (AdMU)—will host a talk by Glenn Diaz. Inihahandog ng Kritika Kultura—kasama ng Kagawaran ng Filipino (AdMU) at Department of Fine Arts (AdMU)—ang isang panayam ng mga patnugot at manunulat ng Balangay Productions, isang palimbagang nagsusulong ng alternatibong paraan ng paggawa at paglimbag ng aklat. Ang mga tagapagsalita ay sina Mesándel Virtusio Arguelles, Maricristh Tuando Magaling, Ime Morales, Beverly Siy, RM Topacio-Aplaon, at Ronald Verzo. Magkakaroon rin ng pagtatanghal ng mga kasapi ng Lunduyan ng mga Bulakenyong Artista't Manunulat (LAMBAT), at ang paglunsad ng Nasa Puso/d. Guevarra and Julz E. Riddle. The lectures—which are co-organised by the Japan Foundation, Japanese Studies Program (AdMU), and Ateneo Institute for Literary Arts and Practices (AILAP)—are part of the kick-off event for the month-long Murakami Festival. Call for Papers: Conference and Special Issue on Cultural Practices and Policies in the Digital Age

 

Kritika Kultura and European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE) are pleased to announce a call for papers for an international conference on cultural practices and cultural policies in the globalized and digital age. The conference will be held at the Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines) on Nov. 22 and 23, 2018. Selected papers will be published in the Feb. 2019 issue of Kritika Kultura (ISSN: 1656-152X), an international peer-reviewed journal indexed in Arts and Humanities Citation Index (Clarivate), EBSCO, Scopus, among others.
