Events: Kritika Kultura Lecture Series presents Dominique Marechal

 

Kritika Kultura, the international refereed journal of language, literary, and cultural studies of the Department of English, Ateneo de Manila University—in cooperation with Areté, Ateneo Art Gallery, and the Fine Arts Department—will host a lecture by Dominique Marechal titled “A Curator at Work.” The lecture is on Feb. 13, 2018, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., at the Ateneo Art Gallery, Ben Chan ArtSuite, 2/F, Arts Wing, Areté (Ateneo de Manila University). The lecture is open to the public.

Events: Kritika Kultura Lecture Series presents Alona U. Guevarra and Julz E. Riddle

 

Kritika Kultura, the international refereed journal of language, literary, and cultural studies of the Department of English, Ateneo de Manila University will host lectures on Haruki Murakami by Alona U. Guevarra and Julz E. Riddle. The lectures—which are co-organised by the Japan Foundation, Japanese Studies Program (AdMU), and Ateneo Institute for Literary Arts and Practices (AILAP)—are part of the kick-off event for the month-long Murakami Festival. The lectures are on Feb. 27, 2018, 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at Leong Hall, Ateneo de Manila University. The event is open to the public.

Call for Papers: Conference and Special Issue on Cultural Practices and Policies in the Digital Age

 

Kritika Kultura and European Centre for International Political Economy (ECIPE) are pleased to announce a call for papers for an international conference on cultural practices and cultural policies in the globalized and digital age. The conference will be held at the Ateneo de Manila University (Philippines) on Nov. 22 and 23, 2018. Selected papers will be published in the Feb. 2019 issue of Kritika Kultura (ISSN: 1656-152X), an international peer-reviewed journal indexed in Arts and Humanities Citation Index (Clarivate), EBSCO, Scopus, among others.
